Philip may be gone. What was inspired by this brilliant and loving young man six years ago will go on.
Love Without Reason and the generous support from individuals and organizations, such as yourself, has performed 687 free facial surgeries to children and adults on two continents
Even more, it matters to have your financial support. Despite the loss of Philip and the havoc of COVID 19 like you, we are fighting to keep going. With a few adjustments, all of us can keep the tradition of the 5Krun and get back to helping little lives.

The Chattanooga Mountains Stage Race consists of three exciting days of trail running in the beautiful mountains surrounding Chattanooga. This challenging — yet attainable — series includes 18 miles on Raccoon Mountain for Day 1, 22 miles on Lookout Mountain for Day 2 with a slight change from last year…roughly the same mileage and climbing, and a 20-mile grand finale on Signal Mountain.
This race is a fantastic introduction to trail running for the novice and other than one hill, it is a flat and fast course for the speed demons looking to set a personal best time. The course is 100% on dirt trail with the exception of a suspension bridge over South Chickamauga Creek. This event is open to anyone traveling at any speed. Hikers are most welcome and there are separate awards for the hikers. The run/hike will be followed by post race snacks, beverages and free admission to the Little Owl Festival which includes the following and more:
Raptor Release
Animal Exhibits
Live Music
Water Quality Demonstrations
Guided Hikes
Falconry Demonstrations
Wildlife and Cultural Education

The Chattanooga Chase is the oldest active competitive road race in the area. This year’s event will feature an 8k and 1-mile race through the scenic North Shore neighborhoods. The 8k is known for its challenging hills and breathtaking scenery. Rock Creek will be awarding a PREMIUM to the first male and female to reach the water station atop Minnekahda Avenue, the race’s most challenging climb. The 1-mile race features a fairly flat, fast course through the neighborhood adjacent to Chattanooga Golf and Country Club. The first 50 finishers of each distance will receive a special edition race t-shirt!
The main parking lot at the amazing Enterprise South Nature Park will be transformed into a giant camp and outdoor restaurant to serve as the headquarters and transition area for the newest trail running events in the southeast. This is a 97 mile race that includes three separate trail loops. Each loop must be completed six times by each team. You have two team options…the 1-3 person “Ultra” team or the 4-6 person “Relay” team. We will give out awards for six separate divisions. Don’t miss out on this inaugural epic adventure.

Nature Calls 15K & 5K is primarily a celebration event for the 200 Mile Club but is still open to anyone. These Nature Calls races are held in the beautiful Lula Lake Land Trust. Learn more about the 200 Mile Club and the quarterly celebration.
This race is a low key, no frills, low cost, no awards social race, run, and/or hike. Both courses are on trails. The 5K is about as easy as can be found in this area and the 15K has some real challenges with the High Adventure trail, including a rope section and the difficult trail that travels down to the bottom of the magnificent Lula Falls. This event is open to anyone traveling at any speed. Hikers are most welcome, however, out of respect for our volunteers time we must enforce a cutoff time of 3 hours for the 15K only. That is 3 miles per hour. The run/hike will be followed by post race snacks and beverages. Proceeds will benefit the Lula Lake Land Trust.
